Yogesh, an MBA graduate, started his career in the Financial Services industry in ’89 and then moved to Kotak Mahindra handling their Investment Banking Division before starting Matex Technologies. Matexnet.com is India’s first B2b company, started as an Internet driven auction company, it has since moved into procurement for large corporations. Matex Technologies transacts 3000 cr through its platform, employing 150 people across 14 offices in India catering to 800 large corporates and 20000 SMEs and Traders.
Yogesh has unique advantage of being an Investment Banker, Investor and an Entrepreneur for the past 28 years. He has turned around several stressed companies and nurtured entrepreneurs in planning their growth strategies.
He co-promoted Kuwy.in, a Digital Lending Company for Used cars which has an investment from Volkswagen Finance, Germany. He has co-promoted Machinemaze.com, that provides Manufacturing As a Service (MaaS) to various companies in India and Abroad.
Yogesh’s experience in handling Small to Large companies has come in handy to several startups and his passion continues to structure the growth of an organization.
He strongly believes that “Cash Flow” is the key to any business model to sustain in the long run.
Yogesh’s social obligations though not through formal organizations, helps Fund Raising for Home for the Aged with whom he is associated for 20 Years. Encourages Table Tennis players who come from economically weak background.
He is a qualified Chartered Accountant, a company secretary and a full bright scholar. He has in-depth knowledge of Corporate management within relevant laws and regulations. During his 40years of corporate career with two major business conglomerates ie. TVS and Murugappa Group- Mr. Ranganathan has demonstrated versatility by working across pivotal functions. Initially he dedicated 15yrs to the core finance domain, followed by 8 yrs in leadership roles encompassing sales, marketing, distribution, supply chain, IT and HR. Since 2006, he has served as the Managing Director of renowned companies, where his adept leadership has consistently delivered commendable business outcomes. His extensive exposure to international business operations through parent companies such as Roca, Whirlpool and Suzuki further amplifies his expertise, enabling him to navigate global markets effectively.
Krishna Shankar Venkataraman is a third-generation leader of Subramany Group of Companies established in 1942 by his late grandfather. Having been at the helm of this company for over 30 years, Krishna Shankar has steered its natural fibre manufacturing wing into being India’s largest exporter of natural fiber for 5 years consecutively. He has successfully transformed the logistics division of the group as a premier organisation offering value-based services in Logistics & Supply Chain, freight forwarding, Custom Broking and Buyers Consolidation services.
In his roles as the Honorary Secretary of the Tuticorin Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Past Chairman of the Confederation of Indian Industries Thoothukudi Chapter and his current roles as a key panelist on the Association for Tuticorin Hub Port Development, Shankar has extensively worked to leverage his home district of Tuticorin as the gateway to Southeast Asia given its port connectivity and industrial wealth.
Shankar serves on the Board of Directors at MatexNet where he brings his expertise in compassionate leadership, business acumen, and decades of excellence in mentoring and advising business and social organizations.
He has also previously been appointed by the Hon. Governor of Tamil Nadu as a Senate member of the Chancellor’s council of the Manonmaniam Sundaranar University, one of the largest public universities in Southern Tamil Nadu, where he leveraged his business network to bring professional development opportunities to students across departments.
